If you are posting property images on the Real Estate Database (RED) that contain logos, watermarks, or contact details of companies other than your own, consider this your official warning. This practice is not acceptable, and we strongly advise against it.

We expect all agents using the RED platform to upload original images for all property listings. Copying images from other company's websites and social media channels, especially when they still contain their branding, is unprofessional and undermines the credibility of our platform.

The RED is designed to showcase genuine listings from legitimate real estate professionals, not to be a hub for borrowed or stolen content. We do not want to be known as a platform where agents cannot gather their own authentic property images.

Furthermore, we do not support or promote companies that are not official members of the RED or those that are competitors. Using images with other companies' logos inadvertently gives them free publicity on our platform, which is not our intention. If a company is not part of the RED, it should not gain visibility through your listings.

Some platforms have unscrupulous individuals who pose as real estate agents, posting fake properties to deceive unsuspecting buyers. We do not want our database to be associated with such platforms, their logos, or their watermarks.

Some members of the RED had previously complained about other agents stealing their images. In response, we implemented a system that automatically adds watermarks to images during the upload process to protect them from misuse. Given this background, it is highly inappropriate for any RED member to now be the one engaging in image theft.

Furthermore, we do not currently encourage RED members to post properties with placeholder images. Such images were a thing of the past, used before digital cameras became common on phones. With the proliferation of digital cameras on every smartphone, placeholder images are no longer allowed.

To all RED members: from this moment forward, you must ensure that you do not upload images containing logos or watermarks from other companies. If you work with other agents who share their listings with you, request the original images, do not simply use the ones that already have their branding on them.

Failure to comply with this guideline may result in penalties, including removal of your listings from the RED platform. We are committed to maintaining a professional and trustworthy real estate marketplace, and we expect our members to uphold the same standards.

Let's keep the RED platform authentic, transparent, and fair for all agents. Upload only original property images, no exceptions!
